Lisp isn’t a language with parentheses: it’s a language with one kind of parenthesis. That this does
not lead to clear layout is evidenced by the usual practice of laying code out with indentation to clarify
the meaning.
Most languages use a range of parentheses or brackets — (), [] and {} — for different reasons
Even constructs like BEING..END act as parentheses.
